Look What We've Been Doing (Plus A Little Give Away)...

Hi all! Hope you've enjoyed your Bank Holiday. It's been raining all day here, so had to find something to keep the girls busy. You may remember the fancy pins I made the other day?(they are on the card below this post). Well I decided to get the girls in to mass production.

 Head pins, beads ,bead caps, spacers, tacky glue and cocktail stick, and here's what we came up with.......

 They were particularly good at making these little angel ones...

Jessica said we should make them into packs and sell them on ebay...lol! I taught her well!

What I though I would do though, is offer a little pack to one of my followers.
Worldwide followers welcome :-)
I know it's not much but just a little thank you from me to you for always taking time to stop by.
Just mention you would like to be entered into the draw in the comments box below.
You have until midnight Friday.....good luck!

Enjoy the rest of your evening!

CES Challenge #38 ~ Embossing...

Hi again....I'm back! Just need to share my DT card with you for CES Challenges.
Our theme this week is EMBOSSING.
So you could heat emboss, dry emboss....as long as there is embossing on your creation.
Well worth entering...there's a £10 voucher for the winner to spend in Emma's fab store!

I have used this new Sugar Nellie Sassy stamp from Funky Kits.
She's called 'Missing You'...isn't she sweet?
I coloured her using Coipcs, glitter Spica Copics, white gel pen. I stamped her in brown, but used a black fine liner to make her huge eyes stand out.

I also used the sketch from THE SUGAR BOWL challenge, so will enter into that.

What do you think of these fancy pins?? Well I made them myself. I'm quite pleased with the results. The plain head pins are dirt cheap on ebay (about 99p for 100). I simply used beads, bead caps, extra tacky glue and cocktail stick. Simple!

From Crafty Emma's store I used;
Prima papers - Sweet Fairy,
Classic Square nesties,
Scalloped card blank.
There is a huge SALE on at the moment...so well worth a mooch!

I also used;
Blossom Nesties,
Leone Em evergreen punch,
Embossing folders,
Dusty Concord distress ink,
Lace.

Hope you'll join us this time...can't wait to see your embossing!

Exciting News...

Hi all. Really sorry I haven't had much time to visit this week. I've been trying to catch up on some DT stuff.
Very excited today! I can now tell you all, after my guest spot over at Crafty Emma's Store Challenges, Emma asked me to join them as a permanent DT member.  Of course I was over the moon and just had to say 'yes'!

This week the theme chosen by the lovely Kaylou is 'Embellish It'.....(use 3 or more embellies).

So for my DT card, I used my Sugar Nellie 'Summer' digi from Funky Kits. This time I printed her out in grey rather than black to give a softer appearance. I then coloured her with Copics, and glitter Copics.

From Craft Emma's fab store I used;
Jack & Jill Prima papers,
Dew drops,
Cherry blossom.

I also used;
Sewing machine,
Go Kreate ovals & scalloped oval dies,
Seam bindings,
large pearl brad,
Making Memories sentiment tab (says 'girl' just incase you can't read it!)
Nellie's corner die.
Prima flower and butterfly.
Vintage Core'dinations.

Looking forward to seeing what you make!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hi all! Time for a new challenge over at Fab'n'Funky!

This week we want to see homemade flowers on your creations.

We have a fab sponsor this week, Paper Make Up Stamps, so I used one of their adorable stamps called 'Emma'.
I used Copics to colour my image.

Other products used;

Daisy & Dandelion papers,
Spellbinders Labels 20 from Pink Gem Designs,
Whimsy ticket sentiment stamp,
Craftwork Cards Card Candy & card blank.

Hope you'll join us. I would love to see your home made blooms! Lots more inspiring ideas by the rest of the DT HERE.

Hi all. Hope you're having a great weekend.
Some crafty time at last for me today! My girls are at their Nan's today. So with only 2 out of 4 children here, things are not quite as hectic as usual! So I've been crafting all day in my PJ's!!

I downloaded this new Simply Adorables digi from Funky Kits last night, and could not wait to colour her. She's called 'Summer'. I used my Copics to colour.

I followed the fab sketch over at The Sugar Bowl, so will enter into their challenge.
The theme is vintage/distressed.

The gorgeous papers are Papermania Blueberry Hill.

I also used;
Sewing machine,
A paper doily,
Paper roses and hydrangeas,
Distress ink - frayed burlap,
Heart crystal stems,
Making Memories metal sentiment.
Vintage seam binding (aqua & siam pink, stitched together, scrunched and dabbed with the Distress Ink).

I will also enter this into ;

Craft Us Crazy ~ use fave embellishment (flowers!) & something new (my digi!)
Cute Card Thursday ~ distressing
Digi Doodle Shop's Best ~ colour combo; pink & blue

A Gem Of A Challenge #21 ~ Colour Combo!...

Hi all!
Hope this posts after all the blogger problems this week. I've a card to show you at last! Thankfully I started this DT last week, as I just haven't felt like crafting this week with this rotten cold I've had. I'm much better now but it has left me with a bad chest, and persistent cough.

So enough chat and on to my card. This time over at 'A Gem Of A Challenge', it's the lovely Christine's turn to choose out theme. She opted for a colour combo;

Aqua, Pink & Lemon

I opted for one of my fave Pink Gem Designs stamps, Chloe In The Rain.
I used Copics to colour her.
The gorgeous digital papers are also from Pink Gem Designs. There are lots to chose from HERE.

Other products used;
Sewing machine,
Go Kreate Oval and scalloped oval dies,
Go Kreate concentric tag dies,
Martha Stewart butterfly punch,
Leone Em ash branch punch,
Lace & ribbon from stash
Various paper flowers from stash
White word peel offs,
button and twine.

Please be sure to join us if you can. We always have a great prize up for grabs, and a top 3 blinkie for our faves!

Testing, Testing....

Blimey what's been wrong with Blogger the past couple of days? I've even lost some comments. They must be floating around in cyber space somewhere.

I'm just doing a little test post to check it's all ok now. I can't show you my card until the morning as it's for 'A Gem Of A Challenge' DT, so thought I'd share a couple more wedding pics. Sorry if you're getting fed up with all things wedding!

My two girls as Bridesmaids, and my little man....who is looking very worried about something. Probably because a minute earlier he was attempting to 'jump in muddy puddles' just like Peppa Pig, and I had to wade into the largest, muddiest puddle you've ever seen and physically remove him!
"So what if it's Auntie Caz's Wedding day..I want to jump in muddy puddles!!"
lol!

Back in the morning (hopefully!!) if blogger has recovered from it's little strop!

Fab'n'Funky Challenge #72 - "Buttons and Bows"...

Hi all. Just a quick post from me, to let you know about our challenge this week over at Fab'n'Funky. The theme we have for you is...

BUTTONS & BOWS

I haven't a DT card to show you (yet) I'm afraid. As you know I've been a little unwell since the weekend, and I just haven't had the energy to craft.

But as always, lots of DT inspiration on the challenge blog.

Back asap with my DT card!

A Few Photos For You...

Hello all!
First of all a HUGE thank you for your wonderful comments on the Wedding card I made for my Sis & new hubby. I think they liked it too!
The weekend was fab but very tiring! The bride was only 10 minutes late lol!.....and the rain held off for the photographs thankfully!
I will be sure to catch up with you all soon, but am feeling a little unwell today with a head ache, sore throat and bad chest.

So I'll simply leave you with a few photos from the day. These are just a few I took, but I'll show you more as and when I get them on my PC.

So here's the happy couple, my beautiful little Sister and her very lucky new hubby....

The Bridesmaids and Page boy (my gorgeous Daughter's and handsome Nephew, the Bride's son)

Yes, the Bride really did go down the slide!!!...

...and so did my youngest Son, Ben..

....who was very worn out by 9pm!

Lots more photo's to share asap!

Thanks for looking!

Wedding Bells...

....should be ringing as you read you this scheduled post. The day has finally arrived of my Sister's Wedding. So I'm not here really! No doubt I'll have some pics to share with you in a couple of days!

But in the meantime here is the card I made for her and her partner.

I have actually used 3 separate images from DigiStamp Boutique's Wedding Collection, and fused them together in Microsoft Works. I used the little bridesmaid image twice, but sized one slightly bigger. My 7 &8 year old daughters are the bridesmaids in question (very proud Mummy here!), the little page boy is my Nephew (the bride's Son).

I printed onto Bazzill Bling and coloured with Copics.

Other Products used;

The card blank is a large 8x8 elegance one from Craftwork Cards,
Go Kreate large frilly dies...they echo this card shape perfectly!
Glazed Bazzill cardstock,
Purple Vintage Core'dinations,
Spellbinders Fancy Tags 3 from Pink Gem Designs,
Purple and white satin ribbon,
Gems.

I will link this up with the DigiStamp Boutique Monthly comp asap!

I will also put this into;

ECP Challenges - weddings/Royal wedding
DigiStamps4Joy - celebration!
A Spoon Full Of Sugar - white + 1 (purple!)

Many thanks for stopping by!
I'll catch up with you all in a couple of days!

Fab'n'Funky Challenge #71 - "Put those papers AWAY!"...

Hi all! I really didn't think I'd have time to join in with the Fab'n'Funky ladies this week with my Sister's fast approaching wedding and all. But I had a little free time today, so here it is, my DT card. I even had chance to use my replacement sewing machine on this card.

This week we DO NOT want to see designer papers of any kind on your project!

I used one of my new Gorjuss Girls stamps, and coloured with Copic markers & glitter Copics.

I actually quite like this weeks no DP challenge, as it so much much easier to match up your colours/colouring! I simply used 3 different colours of Core'dinations card, an embossing folder and sandpaper. The Kraft card blank is a Papermania one.

I also used;

Paper flowers from Pink Gem Designs,
Spacers & bead caps, Quixotic Paperie,
Brads,
and my fave Leone Em punch, Ash Branch.

I will also put this into;

FOR FUN CHALLENGES - Mother's Day OR flower
My Mum's Craft Shop - cute & girly
Try It On Tuesday - something old (my Leone Em punch) & something new (my stamp!)
Make It Monday - anything goes

Hope you will join us this week over at F'n'F!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
