Release Day Over At DigiStamp Boutique...

Hi all. Hopefully this should schedule nice and early to coincide with the latest images going live over on the DigiStamp Boutique website. If you hadn't guessed, it's a Valentine's release this time. Six sweet images plus sentiments too!

I used a technique that the lovely Janet told me about, where you open up a digi patterned paper in 'Page Plus', then overlay your 'png' file digi image. When you print out, the image will still be blank for you to colour etc, but the background is patterned. (Thanks Janet!) I used Pink Petticoat papers today. The lovely lined one is from the 'Perfect Papers' set. I used my EK Success border punch (I think it's called 'Spiral', as in spiral bound?) to make it look like a page from a note book. I also used the lined paper inside the card. The 'Pretty Little Heart' paper is called just that!

I also used Baker's Twine, Gems, and a lovely shaped card blank from Crafty Emma's Store.

Hope you like? Sorry the photo's are a bit pants, but I had to use my daylight lamp. You can't beat natural daylight and a bit of sunshine can you?
Please do pop over to DigiStamp Boutique to see the other sweet images.
Thanks so much for popping by!

Edited To Add;
Images will now be on sale tonight lol...along with even more newies, so please keep checking xx

Happy Tilda...

Hi all. What have you been up to today? I've had my Girls home from school today...teachers on strike! My eldest son was in school though and has been on a Shakespeare trip to Stratford Upon Avon. So Me, the girls and little man paid my elderly Grandad a visit. He had a bad stroke a few weeks ago and today is his Birthday.
Enough of my waffle, and on to my card. I actually made this a few weeks ago whilst messing about with Tim Holtz Distress Crackle paints. I painted several colours thickly onto Kraft card, and once dry, punched out some butterflies with my Martha Stewart punch. I highlighted some of them with Distress Stickles.
Other ingredients;
Happy Tilda rubber stamp,
Copics,
Scraps of DCWV and Pink Petticoat papers,
Making Memories metal sentiment (highlighted with brown Copic),
EK Success scalloped border punch,
Lace,
Brads,
Pom pom trim

Hope you like? It's late now....so a quick mooch around your blogs before bed.
A few challenges for this one;

Divas By Design - die cuts/punches
Flutter By Wednesday's - butterfly, fairy, angel
Scrapbook Sisters - summer fun
Truly Scrumptious - things with wings

Many thanks for looking!

Pink Petticoat gingham paper,
corrugated card,
Divine swirls embossing folder,
Cheery Lynn Doily die,
Frayed Burlap Distress ink,
Cookie sentiment - Elzybells,
Paula Pascaul punchable Labels stamp,
EK Success Pine Branch punch and Ivy border punch,

Paper flowers,
Lace & Ribbon.

I will also enter this into the challenge over at Whiff Of Joy Challenge Blog, as I followed their fab sketch.

Oh and here's a side view. Lots of pics today!...

Right, enjoy the rest of your long weekend. At exactly this time next week, my lil Sis will be getting wed!! How exciting is that?!....and my lil girlies are bridesmaids!
So I apologise in advance, as I won't have much time for blogging, commenting, or making much this week, I've lots to do! Getting outfits ready etc, etc....
I'm really looking forward to the evening do. I'm not usually a drinker, but I WILL definitely be having a drink that evening!

Sugar Bowl Challenge 55 ~ Erika’s Sketch....

Hi all!
Many thanks for all your comments on yesterday's card, and for the Birthday wishes for Ben.
Hello too, to my new followers - sending you a big 'mmwahh!'
I promise to have a good old catch up with you all over the next couple of days.
I just wanted to get this card finished today though, before I make a start on some DT work. It's been laying on my desk half assembled for the past few days.
By pure chance, once I had added the extra green ribbon, it happens to fit the latest sketch challenge over at the Sugar Bowl - Erika's Sketch, with the option of 'Spring'.

I have used 'Hope' from the Simply Adorables's range. I just luuuuurve colouring these images so much! I used my Copics.

The gorgeous, scrummy papers are Prima 'Melody'.

I also used;
Nestabilities - (Lacy and Eyelet) both from Pink Gem Designs.
The fab sentiment stamp is also Pink Gem Designs.
I used a Making Memories pebble clip to fix the sentiment on.
A sqaure doily,
Flowers - (Prima & Crafty Emma)
EK Success Pine branch punch,
Marianne D ribbon die,
Ribbons,
Pearls.

Right, off I pop to link this up.
Bye for now....thanks for stopping by!

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge # 58....Colour Combo!

Hi all!
Many thanks for all your lovely & kind comments yesterday. Promise to pay you a visit too as soon as I can.....little man is still poorly, but he has managed to nibble some toast today, so thst's good!
.
Just quickly popping on to tell you about our new Fab'n'Funky challenge this week, which is a colour combo;
'Chocolate & Blue!'
.
Some of the DT have used images provided by this weeks generous sponsor "Digi's With Attitute"....please pop over to the challange blog to take a peek.
.
I haven't really had much free time this week, so decided to use this Sugar Nellie 'Gorjuss Girl' stamped image for my DT card. I had already coloured it with my Copics.
.
I followed the sketch from the latest Sugarbowl Challenge;
and added the optional extra of "love"!
I will also put this into;
Simon says Stamp challenge.....love is in the air
Creative inspirations.....love/valentines
.

The papers were all bits from my scraps box, but I think the patterened one was originally from a DCWV pad.
I also used;
A couple of heart embossing folders (Sizzix and Cuttlebug),
Nestabilities Lables 4,
EK Success scallop border punch,
A Papermania 'From My Heart To Yours' stamp,
Ribbon

Once again, thanks so much for stopping by!
