Hi all. Been one of those days, a few dramas, and my PC mouse is playing up, (ready to throw the damn thing out of the window!) but I'm finally back with my DT card for CES Challenges.

Teamie Karen want's to see ''PAPER PIECING'' this time.

I've been dying to use this fab image from the 'Dan Collection' over at DigiStamp Boutique for some time, and I think it paper pieces really well!

Other Ingredients;
Promarkers,
Pink Petticoat Papers,
On The Edge Card Blank,
Googly Eyes,
Kraft,
Baker's Twine,
Squiggle Stamps Sentiment Stamp,
Making Memories Clip.
Buttons.

Many items can be purchased from Crafty Emma's Store....but not for much longer (boohoo!) as she's closing down. Lot's of bargains to be had in the meantime though, such as discounted card blanks like the one I've used today.

Thanks so much for popping by today. I'll be back tonight to finally have a catch up with you (mouse permitting!) Then I'm definitely off out shopping tomorrow to buy a new mouse.

CES Challenges ~ 'Entertain Us!' & DigiStamp Boutique DT...

Hi everyone. Another week gone by and I've been quiet on the blog front again...sorry!
This week I have been busy;
A) Getting electrocuted by a faulty shower,
B) Searching for new shower same make & model as faulty one,
C) Trying to get plumber to fit new shower at short notice.

Apparently the fault our shower developed could have been lethal but thankfully I just got a small electric shock when pressing the 'stop' button. At first I thought the tingling in my hand was due to a problem I wake up with some mornings, (I get numb tingling hands, and arm) so I thought I'd press the button again just to check, and yep, definitely an electric shock! Just glad it happened to me and not the kids. We rely on having quick showers being six of us, so we had to get it sorted pronto.

So here's this weeks make, my DT card for CES Challenges.

Our lovely DT member Caroline has picked a fab theme this week;

'Entertain Us!' - Song or Film Inspired

As always the winner of this weeks challenge will receive a lovely voucher to spend at Crafty Emma's Store.

My card is song inspired - David Essex, 'A Winter's Tale ' (or 'tail' because of the doggy....get it??)

I have used one of the very popular new images from DigiStamp Boutique - Hattie & Buddy
I used my Copics to colour and a silver Pearl Pen & Stickles to add detail.

Other Ingredients;
Card Candi,
Sentiment,
Glitter Snowflake,
Charm
(all above from Emma's Store)
Memory Box Dies - Bianca Snowflake & Elegant Scroll (available at Oyster Stamps),
Pink Petticoat digital papers printed onto linen card,
Dark brown card,
Glitter Card,
Metal Corner,
Pink Seam Binding,
Brad.

I am in love with Memory Box dies at the moment. I love how detailed they are.

Can't wait to see which songs or films inspire you!
Lot's of ideas by the rest of the DT over on the CES Challenge blog.
I'll catch up with you as soon as I can but off out tonight for fireworks & fun.
Hope you have fun too if you are celebrating Bonfire night.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

CES Challenges #47 ~ Feeling The Blues...

Hi again! I'm back with my DT card for CES Challenges!
Vicky has chosen a fab theme for us this week...

'Feeling The Blues'

I used this fab Sugar Nellie Leanne Ellis stamp from Funky Kits, and followed the Sugar Bowl sketch...with a theme of lace.
I used my Copics to colour, and 'Summer Sky' Memento ink & sponge dauber for the cloudy background.

First Edition papers, Baker's Twine, Wild Rose Studio brad, Craftwork Cards sentiment.

I also used;
These fab Lacey Squares Nestabilities ~ Pink Gem Designs,

Flowers that have been in my stash for years,
Ribbon & threading lace,
Sweet little bird cage charm ~ ebay

Thanks again for stopping by and for all your lovely comments. I'm still a bit behind with commenting myself so really sorry about that.
We had a nasty fright yesterday. My girls were outside waiting for the ice cream van as they usually do. When the van pulled up it caught my eldest daughter's bike that she was holding on to, and pulled it under the van! A couple of men came to the rescue and managed to free the bike...which had some damage, but I'm just so grateful my Daughter didn't get pulled under with it! (doesn't bear thinking about!) However it left her very shocked, and she still seems a bit shaky today.
Hopefully I should have chance to catch up with you all later as my girls are off for a sleepover tonight.
Many thanks for stopping by!

From Crafty Emma's Store I used;

Mulberry ribbon,
bakers twine,
Wild Rose Studio brad,
dew drops.

Hi all. Really sorry I haven't had much time to visit this week. I've been trying to catch up on some DT stuff.

This week the theme chosen by the lovely Kaylou is 'Embellish It'.....(use 3 or more embellies).

So for my DT card, I used my Sugar Nellie 'Summer' digi from Funky Kits. This time I printed her out in grey rather than black to give a softer appearance. I then coloured her with Copics, and glitter Copics.

Jack & Jill Prima papers,
Dew drops,
Cherry blossom.

I also used;
Sewing machine,
Go Kreate ovals & scalloped oval dies,
Seam bindings,
large pearl brad,
Making Memories sentiment tab (says 'girl' just incase you can't read it!)
Nellie's corner die.
Prima flower and butterfly.

CES Challenge ~ Monochromatic (My GDT Card)...

Hi all!
It's the beginning of the Easter hols here, and the Children have now broken up from school for 2 wks. So on the plus side I can burn the midnight oil, and craft until the early hours without having the school run to worry about in the morning. We can lounge around in our pj's all morning instead.

It's my second week as guest designer at CES Challenges.
The theme this time is MONOCHROMATIC.

My card is huge! I used a whopping 8x8 cream blank by Craftwork Cards.

The sweet digi image is a Sugar Nellie Adorable called 'Joy', available at Funky Kits. The only colour I added was with an ivory Promarker. I didn't think it needed anything else to fit the monochromatic theme.

The yummy paper is Craftwork Cards Allsorts.
Many Craftwork Cards products can be found at Crafty Emma's Store.

I used my 'Beaded Circle' Nesties from Pink Gem Designs (all Nesties on special at the mo!)
The adorable 'Birthday Wishes' Sentiment stamp is by Pink Gem Designs too.

The leafy punch is Leone 'em Evergreen.

I also added paper flowers, organza ribbon, a ribbon slider, gems and pearls.
Crafty Emma stocks many beautiful finish touches, such as the ribbon slider I've used.

Oh, and I should add, the beautiful butterfly die is by Marianne Designs, but it's a blinkin' pain in the *** to cut in my Wizard!!

I will also enter this into LEXI'S CREATIONS - MONOCHROMATIC

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I'm off to my Sister's hen night later, but will catch up with you all over the next few days.
