The Sugar Bowl Challenge 101...

Hi all, hope you are all well. Still haven't been about much have I? So much sickness and illness about this Winter....totally fed up of it. With 4 kiddies it's no joke, and I seem to have been catching everything too. I've had no sense of smell for 3 weeks....nothing at all, not even a whiff. Hope it comes back soon, I keep burning the dinner lol.

Just a quick scheduled post today to let you know about our latest challenge starting today over at The Sugar Bowl;

"Anything Goes" (as long as you use a Sugar Nellie image of course!)

 I used "Sprinkle With Love", and coloured with Copics & Flexmarkers.

Hi all. Hope you had a good Easter? The school hols have flown by. The weather could have been a bit better but it was just nice not having the usual mad mornings/school runs, and being able to lounge in PJ's!

I decided to flip the  sketch on it's side and used this lovely 'With Love Chicks' digi stamp from Pink Gem Designs. I used Promarkers & Flexmarkers to colour.

CES Challenges ~ Photo Inspiration!...

  Hi all. A new challenge over at CES Challenges for you today. Sheena's turn this time, and she has a gorgeous inspirational photo for you;

For my DT card I also followed the sketch challenge over at Lili's Little Fairies, using this sweet Lili Of The Valley image which I coloured mainly with Copics and a little with Flexmarkers.

A Gem Of A Challenge & CES Challenges...

 Hi everyone. Many thanks for the get well wishes for my Mum. She's still in hospital, and the docs are still not sure exactly what's wrong with her, but thankfully the intravenous antibiotics seem to be working as she's showing some improvement. Here's hoping she's back home with us soon!
Meanwhile my girls are away for three days with the Brownies. Missing them lots! Already had a text from the Brownie leader this morning to let me know Beth's managed to loose her shoes!! Oh dear...hope they find them or she'll have to spend all weekend in her wellies!

I Love You!...

 Hi all! Hope you've had a good start to the week. At least it's a little milder here...a welcome break from ice & snow! 

Sorry I've been AWOL, but have been really under the weather. What started out a nasty cold turned into tonsillitis. I've been feeling too unwell to craft. Saturday was spent in PJ's.  I had to take my daughter to a party on Sunday, but still felt ropey. Today I feel much more lively thankfully. So I had to knuckle down and get this card finished. It's a commissioned card needed for the big day tomorrow. I did start it last week before I became unwell, and it was also meant to be my DT card for CES Challenges - 'Lot's Of Layers' challenge on Saturday. So it's obviously very late...(sorry about that ladies!)

I used two of the new February images from DigiStamp Boutique, Valentine Rufus & Valentine Tia.

I layered the PNG files over a Pink Petticoat patterned paper in 'Page Plus'. When printed, the background is patterned but the images stay blank ready to colour.

I used Promarkers & Flexmarkers (from Crafty Emma's Store) to colour. I then stamped the couples initials into the hearts (they're holding each others initials). I used wood mounted stamps, so was doing this a little blindly. Phew...the 'G' only just made it inside the heart! I then added Stardust Stickles.

A Gem Of A Challenge & CES Challenges....

Hi all. Really sorry to everyone. I'm running a little late this weekend with my DT card. Hubby has been unwell for the past few days. Now we have snow....and lots of it! The kids have been building snowmen & sledging. 

Anyway, here it is, my DT card for both A Gem Of A Challenge, where Lisa has the theme of FAIRIES for you, and also CES Challenges, where Vicky has designed this lovely sketch below for you to follow and/or would like to see WINGS on your creations. So like me, you could easily combine a creation for these two challenges.

CES Challenges #70 ~ Check It Out!...

Hi all! Time for a brand new challenge over at CES Challenges. 

This week our theme is;

'Check It Out!'

So we'd like to see any sort of gingham, tartan, checks on your projects.

Look at this adorable westie! Coming soon to DigiStamp Boutique, but I couldn't wait to have a play, so here's a sneaky peek for you. Once again I printed my digi over the top of a patterned paper in 'Page Plus' (please see my previous post for details). Well actually I printed over two patterned papers today. I opened one paper on top of another paper in Page Plus, and overlapped them. Then popped my 'png' file digi over the top, printed and coloured with my Flexmarkers. The papers I used are by Pink Petticoat.

 This is also my Birthday card for my little Beth who will be 8 next Friday.
