Candy Time!...

***CANDY NOW CLOSED!!***

Hi all! Just a quick apology to all my lovely followers for being a really rubbish blogger just lately. And also an apology to those kind enough to have me on their DT's, as I feel I haven't been pulling my weight recently. Unfortunately life/children/illness/appointments....etc, have got in the way of my crafting and computer time this past few weeks. To make up for it a little, here is some candy that any of my followers (old or new) are welcome to enter. All you need to do is leave a comment below and pop a post on your blog or sidebar etc...linking back to my blog. I will draw a winner at random on the evening of Thursday 15th Dec. I will send the prize first class and with a bit of luck the winner will receive their goodies just in time for a few last minute Christmas makes.  I still have all of my Christmas makes to do so I'm off to actually do some crafting now for the first time in what seems like ages.
Good luck & thanks for stopping by!

A Gem Of A Challenge 'Monochrome' & ' Special Ages' Over At CES...

Hi all! Wow, seems like ages since I blogged. It's all busy, busy here with poorly kids. My girls have been poorly with Tonsillitis, especially my youngest daughter who seems to have been poorly off & on for a fortnight. And now my 3yr old has 'Hand, Foot & Mouth' disease! Not as scary as it sounds, and nothing to do with the 'Foot & Mouth' disease that cattle get. It's a virus that spreads amongst small kiddies. He hasn't been right all week, then came home from school yesterday with rash covered hands and a mouth full of blisters, so it's really sore to eat, poor little man!

So here is my late DT offering for;

A GEM OF A CHALLENGE - Christine's theme - Monochrome
&
CES CHALLENGES - Special Milestone Ages

Ingredients;
Copics,
Corrugated card,
Martha Stewart punch,
Card Blank,
Card Candi (I wrote sentiment on it using white gel pen),
Smooth white card,
Promarkers.

Please pop across to the challenge blogs to see what the rest of both DT's have been up to.
I hope to catch up on colouring some images over at my Mum's today. She says I can take my sick brood across to get a bit of Nanny's TLC.
Thanks for stopping by!

New Digis Over At Pink Gem Designs...

Hi all. Hope you've had a good week. No crafty for me this week....infact much of my craft stash has been hidden under a mound of stuff for the charity shop. Hubby is on hols from work, and we have been doing loads around the house, having a huge sort out, painting in the garden, clearing out the shed. Next week we are supposed to be starting some decorating.
Have you seen the mega cute bears above? Well you can grab them as digis over at Pink Gem Designs, just released today! And until 7am Monday morning you can also get 20% off polymer stamps, so why not treat yourself?
A new challenge has started over at CES today, but sorry, no DT card from me just yet. Might have time to whip up a late one tomorrow. Please do see what the other DT ladies have been up to though.

Thanks for stopping by!

CES Challenges ~ 'Entertain Us!' & DigiStamp Boutique DT...

Hi everyone. Another week gone by and I've been quiet on the blog front again...sorry!
This week I have been busy;
A) Getting electrocuted by a faulty shower,
B) Searching for new shower same make & model as faulty one,
C) Trying to get plumber to fit new shower at short notice.

Apparently the fault our shower developed could have been lethal but thankfully I just got a small electric shock when pressing the 'stop' button. At first I thought the tingling in my hand was due to a problem I wake up with some mornings, (I get numb tingling hands, and arm) so I thought I'd press the button again just to check, and yep, definitely an electric shock! Just glad it happened to me and not the kids. We rely on having quick showers being six of us, so we had to get it sorted pronto.

So here's this weeks make, my DT card for CES Challenges.

Our lovely DT member Caroline has picked a fab theme this week;

'Entertain Us!' - Song or Film Inspired

As always the winner of this weeks challenge will receive a lovely voucher to spend at Crafty Emma's Store.

My card is song inspired - David Essex, 'A Winter's Tale ' (or 'tail' because of the doggy....get it??)

I have used one of the very popular new images from DigiStamp Boutique - Hattie & Buddy
I used my Copics to colour and a silver Pearl Pen & Stickles to add detail.

Other Ingredients;
Card Candi,
Sentiment,
Glitter Snowflake,
Charm
(all above from Emma's Store)
Memory Box Dies - Bianca Snowflake & Elegant Scroll (available at Oyster Stamps),
Pink Petticoat digital papers printed onto linen card,
Dark brown card,
Glitter Card,
Metal Corner,
Pink Seam Binding,
Brad.

I am in love with Memory Box dies at the moment. I love how detailed they are.

Can't wait to see which songs or films inspire you!
Lot's of ideas by the rest of the DT over on the CES Challenge blog.
I'll catch up with you as soon as I can but off out tonight for fireworks & fun.
Hope you have fun too if you are celebrating Bonfire night.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

The stunning Winter papers are Prima 'North Country' available from Crafty Emma's Store.
I matted onto Bazzill Kraft (edges inked and given the Stickles treatment).

Long Time No Blog....

Hi friends! So sorry for the lack of blogging just lately. It's the school hols....say no more!
I hope to make it up to you all soon though, and offer some '400 followers candy'....just need to sort out a few more goodies for you first.

This is a card I've been working on for over a week. I've had so little crafty time just lately!

The sweet little girl in the image is Janet's Grandaughter Mia. Janet made her into a digi, and I was happy to have a play! I used Copics to colour her. I added a little resin cabochon flower (ebay) to her hair. The sweet sentiment is from Pink Gem Designs.

The papers are Crate Paper 'Random' from Crafty Emma's Store. Big congrats to Emma & Steve by the way, who's little girl Olivia came into the world last weekend! Some lovely pics HERE.

I also used;
Martha Stewart border punch,
Spellbinders nesties - Pink Gem Designs,
Brads - Eyelet Outlet,
Seam Binding,
Flowers - From stash & Crafty Emma's Store,
Stardust Stickles.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
Once again, sorry for being a bad blogger. Promise to catch up with you all as soon as I can.

CES Challenges ~ New Beginnings...

Hi all! Time for a new challenge over at CES Challenges. This week we are waiting excitedly for baby news from boss Emma (she's 2 days overdue at the moment!) so we thought we'd have a special 2 week challenge with the theme;

New Beginnings!

This could be new baby, new home, new job, etc....

A £10 voucher up for grabs to spend in Emma's Store for one lucky winner.

I used this adorable baby Ellie image from DigiStamp Boutique. Isn't she cute?...and she comes with an equally adorable 'boy' version too called Fynn. I paper pieced her and also used Copics, then a bit of decoupage.

From Crafty Emma's fab store I used a shaped card blank, buttons, pearls and Baker's Twine. You can grab a massive 20% off at the moment, but you must enter the code SALE20 at the checkout.....and please remember to allow extra time for your orders in case baby makes an entrance.

Other Ingredients;
Papers - Pink Petticoat
Calender Digi - Pink Gem Designs,

Don't forget to see what the rest of the DT have been up to over on the challenge blog.
Can't wait to see what you make.....and don't forget you have two weeks to enter this time.

Halloween Sale...

Evening all! Just thought I'd better pop on here to say 'hello' as I've been AWOL all week. It's been one of those weeks with lots going on, and also very sadly a sudden bereavement on my Husband's side of the family, so I haven't really felt very creative this week. Sorry for my lack of visits too....hopefully I'll catch up soon!

Just over a week to Halloween, and Pink Gem Designs have a fab offer on at the moment with 25% OFF HALLOWEEN PRODUCTS. You can click HERE to shop.

Well I'll love ya and leave ya now until the morning when I will have something to share at last!
Big hugs,
Jenny xx
