Happy Tilda...

Hi all. What have you been up to today? I've had my Girls home from school today...teachers on strike! My eldest son was in school though and has been on a Shakespeare trip to Stratford Upon Avon. So Me, the girls and little man paid my elderly Grandad a visit. He had a bad stroke a few weeks ago and today is his Birthday.
Enough of my waffle, and on to my card. I actually made this a few weeks ago whilst messing about with Tim Holtz Distress Crackle paints. I painted several colours thickly onto Kraft card, and once dry, punched out some butterflies with my Martha Stewart punch. I highlighted some of them with Distress Stickles.
Other ingredients;
Happy Tilda rubber stamp,
Copics,
Scraps of DCWV and Pink Petticoat papers,
Making Memories metal sentiment (highlighted with brown Copic),
EK Success scalloped border punch,
Lace,
Brads,
Pom pom trim

Hope you like? It's late now....so a quick mooch around your blogs before bed.
A few challenges for this one;

Divas By Design - die cuts/punches
Flutter By Wednesday's - butterfly, fairy, angel
Scrapbook Sisters - summer fun
Truly Scrumptious - things with wings

Many thanks for looking!

Hi all! Hope you're well. Sorry for my lack of posts, and comments this week. To be honest have been trying to catch up with DT stuff that I can't show you just yet, and also DT commenting. So really sorry if I haven't made it to your blogs yet this week!

Time for a new challenge over at Fab'n'Funky.
This week we have a theme and/or optional sketch. Out theme is 'Bermuda Triangle' So we'd like to see triangles of some sort on your creation. Plenty of ideas by the rest of the DT on the challenge blog. Along with the optional triangle themed sketch if you'd like to follow that.

I decided to follow the sketch by Marlene over at the Sugar Bowl, with a theme of Summer and added my triangles in the form of bunting.

I used 'In The Garden'....a fab rubber stamp by Mary Hall, available at Funky Kits.....who we are very lucky to be sponsored by this week, along with ANOTHER sponsor, Inky Impressions.

I used;
Copics,
Papermania Birdsong papers,

Hey Birdie...

 Hi all...hope you're having a happy Sunday...and Father's Day if applicable!
I'm just finishing off my Father's Day card for my Dad...who I will see later.
Talk about last minute!!
I'm waiting for some glue to dry on it, so am squeezing a quick post in.

Now today's card is one I have been requested to make by a lovely lady from the USA who happens to be a 'Peekers' fan. I made one very similar a couple of months back and sold it on ebay.
Unfortunately she missed out on that one so asked if I minded making one similar for her. So here it is.
So sorry if this looks familiar..it is a little different though!

I have used my 'Hey Birdie' Peeker stamp (by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD) available at Quixotic Paperie.
I used my Copics to colour.

The papers are Echo Park available at Crafty Emma's Store. along with the pearls.
The wired scrunchy ribbon is from The Ribbon Reel.
I also used Nestabilities Labels 20 from Pink Gem Designs,
 a Making Memories metal sentiment,
and an 'on the edge' card blank (Craftwork Cards)

Right, off to see if my glue has dried.....back later all being well!
Thanks for looking.

Hugs...

I have used 'Butterfly Chloe' today and coloured with my Copics.

So Excited....

Oh wow! VERY excited today. I am so very proud to reveal I'm being spotlighted over on the Sugar Nellie blog today!!! I can honestly say, this is definitely one of my top crafty ambitions achieved! Many of you know I'm a BIG Sugar Nellie fan, and have been since I first discovered Funky Kits  about three and half years ago.
I hold them fully responsible for my overdraft, lol!

So when Elaine emailed me to ask if I'd be in the spotlight, I almost fell off my chair with excitement!
Here's the card I made for her. I used 'Summer' from the Simply Adorables range of digis.I coloured her with my Copics.

This is a large 8x8 card today. That's what I love about digis, you can re size to suit your needs.
Prima papers (available at Crafty Emma's Store),
Sizzix leafy die,
Martha Stewart butterfly punch, and cherry blossom border punch,
Whimsy Stamp Spring sentiment stamps from Quixotic Paperie & flowers & ribbon from stash.

I blinged  up the flowers with Stardust Stickles.

Thanks so much to Elaine for asking me!

If you're In Need Of Some Retail therapy...

....I found a shop I'd never used before during the week whilst having a Google...

OMG!, the most wonderful selection of lace, trims and ribbons I have ever seen all in one place, inc Prima.....great prices too. They also stock beautiful paper, stamps, embellishments.....

Free P&P over £25 (not hard....you'll want the lot!) Loyalty points to redeem off future orders, AND....if it's your first order you can get 10% off, just enter code 10FFNEW.

I ordered Weds, and received Friday. It was all packaged beautifully like a birthday present. I was so thrilled I had to email the owner, Hayley to let her know I'd be recommending her to my friends.

So she kindly said if you do place an order just mention in the comments box that you found her through me (Jennifer - My Inky Hands) she'll update your loyalty points with an extra £1.00!

I have no connection to this company, I just love it when I come across a fab new place to make me poor! Sorry if you are supposed to be on a stash ban!!

The scalloped card blank and pink paper (Prima Annalee) are also from Crafty Emma's Store.
The black paper is from my stash, as is the black lace and charm.
The large sparkly brad is from the Eyelet Outlet.
