All Done!...

I'm back, and phew, all done now! This card is for my eldest Daughter.

I have used the adorable Chloe & Xmas Tree from DigiStamp Boutique.
I printed her twice. First onto cream card, and again onto smooth white card.
I used an embossing folder to add snow texture to the cream card. I then coloured in the image printed onto the white card with Promarkers. I then decoupaged it onto the cream card.

The gorgeous papers are Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses.
As with my earlier card, I used my Spellbinders Fancy Tag dies to cut out my PC generated sentiment.

I must dash off now as lots to do! Many thanks for stopping by.
I wish you all a really, really......

Wonderful Christmas!

Snow Play! (DigiStamp Boutique DT Card)...

Hi everyone!
Hope you are ready for Christmas, and are not too snowed in!
I intended to do so much this weekend, but didn't feel too well, so ended up doing nothing!
I started this card a week or two ago, but have only just finished it.

I have used the adorable ' Snow Play' from DigiStamp Boutique, and coloured it with Promarkers. DigiStamp Boutique currently have 20% off Christmas images!

The card blank is a whopping 8x8 in size, so my Go Kreate large frame dies were perfect to frame my image.
The papers are old DCWV ones from my stash.
I also used my Martha Stewart punches; Holly Branch, and 'Cherish' Border. No sentiment added as yet, as I will personalise it when I've sorted out who it's for.

I added a large satin bow and then I sprayed the whole card with Crafter's Companion silver glitter spray, for a bit of Christmas magic

Once again, sorry for not visiting your blogs much lately. I have been completely hopeless this month, too busy getting ready for Christmas. My eldest Son will be 13 on Christmas Day! It's gone so fast!...now that was an interesting way to spent Christmas I can tell you!

Back in the week to share more last minute makes.

The sponsor for our 3 week extravaganza is Stitchy Bear Stamps who are offering the winner a selection of digi stamps.

As we are all a bit pushed for time this time of year, our challenge theme will be..........

'Quick & Easy Does It!'

Mr Elf (Squiggle Stamps DT card)...

Morning all!
.
Hope you have had a good weekend so far? I am in a bit of pain actually, after injuring my foot. I jumped off the bottom rung of my daughters bunk bed ladders, after making the bed, only to land (bare footed!) right on the plug of a charger, which was left lying around on the floor with the prongs pointing upwards...OUCH! One of the prongs has stabbed me in the foot, there was lots of blood etc...etc... My daughters came running to my aid with wet paper towels.....apparently their school teachers answer to any ailment or injury...put a wet paper towel on it. So that's what they did, bless them! Anyhow, I'll live!
.
So on to today's card, my weekly Squiggle Stamps DT card, featuring the very cheeky 'Mr Elf', available in rubber HERE, or as a digi HERE. Digis are perfect for those last minute Christmas makes as you can use them instantly. There is also a sale on Christmas images at moment, both rubber and digi!
.
Other Products Used;
Promarkers
8x8 cream 'Elegance' card blank (Craftwork Cards),
Octagon Nestabilities,
Dovecraft papers
Martha Stewart holly branch punch
Martha Stewart zig zag punch,
Paper flowers,
Plastic 'Merry Christmas' tag,
Brad,
Ribbon
Card Candy

Don't forget to check out our Squiggles monthly comp and this month is a DT call too!
.

I will put this into A Passion For Promarkers.......anything goes Christmas

Thanks for looking. I am slowly getting more organised for Christmas, and we now have the new laptop up and running (yippee!) so I should have more chance to visit your blogs that I've been neglecting just lately.
Bye for now!

Christmas Doodles (DigiStamp Boutique DT Card)...

Morning all! A quick post from me, as I really have tonnes to do once the kids are at school. But thought I'd better quickly blog this creation that I made last weekend.

I have used the tree from the 'Christmas Doodles' set from DigiStamp Boutique. You get 4 festive images for just £1.99! A brill solution for any last minute makes!

I first printed the tree onto white card, and coloured the pot, & star etc. with Promarkers. Then I printed out a sheet of Pink Petticoat paper onto linen card, and printed out the tree again onto that. I layered it up and added gems.

The Nestabilities are Labels 17. I also used my MS zig zag punch.

Fab'n'Funky Challenge #52....Christmas Is For The Children

Hi everyone! Thanks for all your recent comments and a big 'hello!' to my new followers.
I really appreciate it. Although I just haven't had time to blog hop myself....so really sorry! I will get around to you all once I am feeling a bit more organised and ready for the fat, jolly bearded man himself to pay us a visit.
.
I'm so busy in fact that my FAB'N'FUNKY DT card is a day late (sorry teamies...your cards are stunning by the way!)
This week we want to see your Christmas creations with Children in mind.
.
I have used one of my favourite Pink Gem stamps, Postbox Ellie, and coloured her with Promarkers & chalks. I sprayed the finished image with Crafters Companion glitter varnish (mainly to seal the chalks), and added little gems as snow.

The papers are Cosmo Cricket and I made the corners with Nesties & an embossing folder.

Right, must dash! Thanks so much for stopping by!

A Gem Of A Challenge 11...Rebekah's Sketch!....

Hi all!
Time for another Gem Of A Challenge. (Wow..where did the last month go?)

This month is the turn of teamie Rebekah to host our challenge, and she's given us this fab sketch to work with with the option of 'distressing'.

I killed two birds with one stone here, and doubled up my DT card with a card order I needed to make.

I used the extremely cute 'Penguin Friends' polymer stamp available HERE at Pink Gem Designs. I used Promarkers to colour it.
I also used 'Tis The Season' digi sentiment, (available HERE), which I printed onto white linen card and tinted with inks and a sponge dauber.

The card blank is a cream 'Elegance' from Craftwork Cards. The gorgeous papers are Dovecraft. I added paper flowers, a large brad and holly cut using my Martha Stewart punch.

I stamped the 'Wife' sentiment onto white linen card, and cut it out using my Spellbinders ribbon tag die, and again, tinted with inks.
Once finished, I sprayed the whole card with Crafter's Companion gold glitter spray.

Hope you decide to join us this month. Remember, you don't need to use a Pink Gem image to enter!

Thanks for popping by and for any comments you might leave, especially as I haven't had any time to blog hop myself this week....so much going on here!
Mind you, who isn't busy this time of year? I'm sure things will return to normal in the new year!
.
Back later to tell you about our new challenge over at Fab'n'Funky, and to announce the winner of my DigiStamp Boutique prize from last weeks Birthday Blog Hop.
.
See you later!

Snow Pals (Squiggle Stamps DT Card)...

Hi all!
It's Saturday and so time for my Squiggle Stamps DT card.
If you live in the UK, you are probably sick of the cold white stuff by now, but I couldn't resist using the very cute 'Snow Pals' on today's card. I have used the digi version, but you can also grab it in rubber right here. There is a December sale running at the moment too. So grab yourself a bargain!

I coloured the adorable image with Promarkers & added Stickles star dust for a bit of festive sparkle. I also made my own snowflake backing paper by stamping in white ink onto Bazzill kraft.

I also used my X-Cut snowflake punch, some dew drops and a white 'let it snow' peel off.

Instead of a challenge this month we would like you to share your Christmassy Squiggle Creations. Squiggle Stamps are on the lookout for some guest designers to join us from January and would love to see your fresh ideas! Spread the word!! There will also be some Advent Candy so look out for that :) Please click HERE for full details.

Thanks for looking & see you again soon!
