CES Challenges #47 ~ Feeling The Blues...

Hi again! I'm back with my DT card for CES Challenges!

Vicky has chosen a fab theme for us this week...

'Feeling The Blues'

I used this fab Sugar Nellie Leanne Ellis stamp from Funky Kits, and followed the Sugar Bowl sketch...with a theme of lace.

I used my Copics to colour, and 'Summer Sky' Memento ink & sponge dauber for the cloudy background.

From Crafty Emma's Store I used;

First Edition papers, Baker's Twine, Wild Rose Studio brad, Craftwork Cards sentiment.

Sewing Machine (lol!...stitching a bit wonky as bobbin was almost empty)

We had a nasty fright yesterday. My girls were outside waiting for the ice cream van as they usually do. When the van pulled up it caught my eldest daughter's bike that she was holding on to, and pulled it under the van! A couple of men came to the rescue and managed to free the bike...which had some damage, but I'm just so grateful my Daughter didn't get pulled under with it! (doesn't bear thinking about!) However it left her very shocked, and she still seems a bit shaky today.
Hopefully I should have chance to catch up with you all later as my girls are off for a sleepover tonight.

Fab'n'Funky Challenge #83 ~ Clash Of The Colours...

Hi all. A quick scheduled post from me today to tell you about our new challenge over at Fab'n'Funky.

We want to see 'A Clash Of The Colours'

My image and sentiment are by Lili Of The Valley and I used my Copics & chalks to colour.

 I love Echo Park papers as they are so bright and cheery. I have used the downloadable versions today printed onto Papermill linen card. But if you don't do digi papers Crafty Emma has loads of Echo Park pads in stock including new releases and pre orders.

CES Challenge #46 ~ Humour/Funny...

 Back as promised with my DT card for CES Challenges. 

This week we have a theme chosen by the lovely Sue. We want your creations to make us giggle!

A £10 CES voucher up for grabs as always!

 I decided to use DIY Alf available HERE at DigiStamp Boutique, who along with my Elzybells sentiment does make me giggle!

From Crafty Emma's fab store I used a 'top notch' card blank, tool charms, Promarkers & the brand new fine nibs that simply click on over the bullet end for precision colouring. I used one for the faux stitching.

A Gem Of A Challenge 26 ~ Sketch By Jackie...

 Hello all!....long time no blog!!

Really sorry I haven't blogged or visited your blogs this week. To be honest things are upside down here at the moment, as my teenage son has been unwell. He was in hospital for a couple of days, and then other medical appointments once home. So crafting and blogging have had to take a back burner. 

And it's my Birthday today too! Thirty-blinkin-five! God I feel old!!

So time for a new challenge over at A Gem Of A Challenge!

For my DT card, I used 'Reindeer In Boxers' (hehe....fab isn't he?) from Pink Gem Designs, available as a digi download. If you are quick you may be lucky enough to grab him for free HERE. Janet sometimes has a freebie on her blog, and this is the current offering. He will then move over to the store available to purchase. The papers are also digital by Pink Gem Designs.

 I used Copics to colour him.

CES Challenge #45 ~ Christmas...

Yep we've gone all Christmassy over at CES Challenges.....a theme chosen by the lovely Emma herself! A £10 voucher up for grabs as always.

So for my DT card I used the fab 'offer of the month' set by DigiStamp Boutique, 'Snow Peeps'. 

The characters come with little doodles you can add, mix and match in a programme such as 'Page Plus'. It's great fun! Reminds me of  those 'Fuzzy Felts' I had as a kid. I'd spend hours creating scenes.

 So just a splash of colour with my Copics, and a touch of sparkle with my Stardust Stickles!

Hello all! I'm being a bit naughty today, as I have 2 challenges to tell you about but only one card. I've had to combine my DT makes this week, as have had zero time for crafting with much going on at school,with it being the end of the school year. I'll be glad when they break up actually! Then in September my littlest man will be starting too. Crafting here I come!!

In Print...

 Hi all. First of all I would like to apologise for not being around to comment on your blogs much lately. I hate it when life gets in the way....but it just does at times! Please forgive me. I'll catch up asap!

A huge thanks for the congrats I've had on being in the latest Creativity Magazine (page 69, Talent Spot feature)

I had been excited and nervous since Clare Curd asked me at the end of last year!

Yes I had to keep it quiet for 6 whole months!!

So I received a huge package of Tulip goodies in the post and had to make 3 cards with the goodies. I find things like that a challenge. It's one thing spotting goodies you like, feeling inspired and buying them. But another thing altogether receiving mystery items and having to produce cards with them. Eeek!!
 Luckily, I breathed a sigh of relief when I opened my package. The goodies were lovely!

I took some quick pics of my makes before I submitted them. Not brilliant pics sorry....it was very dull at the time, and I had to post them off.

Hopefully I'll be back on track soon, with more blogging/crafting time!
