CES Challenges #70 ~ Check It Out!...

Hi all! Time for a brand new challenge over at CES Challenges. 

This week our theme is;

'Check It Out!'

So we'd like to see any sort of gingham, tartan, checks on your projects.

Look at this adorable westie! Coming soon to DigiStamp Boutique, but I couldn't wait to have a play, so here's a sneaky peek for you. Once again I printed my digi over the top of a patterned paper in 'Page Plus' (please see my previous post for details). Well actually I printed over two patterned papers today. I opened one paper on top of another paper in Page Plus, and overlapped them. Then popped my 'png' file digi over the top, printed and coloured with my Flexmarkers. The papers I used are by Pink Petticoat. 

From Crafty Emma's Store, I used;

I also used;

Go Kreate dies (to make a frame),

Sizzix embossing folder (to emboss frame),

Gingham bow,

Stickles.

A Gem Of A Challenge #38...

Hi all! Very quick one from me this evening as have had a very busy weekend (my daughter's 8th Birthday), and still need to get all the school stuff ready for the morn. So without further ado, here's my (late!!) DT card for A GEM OF A CHALLENGE, where this time we have a fab sketch by the lovely Lisa....

I've used one of the adorable new 'Faye' digi stamps, and some fab downloadable papers all from PINK GEM DESIGNS.

One again I used the fab technique Janet told me about, where you open up a digi patterned paper in 'Page Plus', then overlay your 'png' file digi image. When you print out, the image will still be blank for you to colour etc, but the background is patterned.

I also used Marianne ribbon dies, Spellbinders frameabilities, (wide selection of these dies available at Pink Gem Designs). Card candi & top notch card blank (Crafty Emma's Store), and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

CES Challenges #68 ~ 'Vintage Dahling'...

Hi all! Whoopsies!.....a little late in the day with this, but here it is anyway, my DT card for CES Challenges. 

Our theme picked by lovely Sheena is;

'VINTAGE DAHLING!'

 This is also my Birthday card for my little Beth who will be 8 next Friday.

I have used the adorable Louie available as part of the 'Love' set HERE over at DigiStamp Boutique, and coloured with my Flexmarkers. I wrote her name in the hearts using a Copic glitter pen. You can get the wonderful Flexmarkers from Crafty Emma's Store.

Also from Emma's Store I used;

Release Day Over At DigiStamp Boutique...

Hi all. Hopefully this should schedule nice and early to coincide with the latest images going live over on the DigiStamp Boutique website. If you hadn't guessed, it's a Valentine's release this time. Six sweet images plus sentiments too!

I used a technique that the lovely Janet told me about, where you open up a digi patterned paper in 'Page Plus', then overlay your 'png' file digi image. When you print out, the image will still be blank for you to colour etc, but the background is patterned. (Thanks Janet!) I used Pink Petticoat papers today. The lovely lined one is from the 'Perfect Papers' set. I used my EK Success border punch (I think it's called 'Spiral', as in spiral bound?) to make it look like a page from a note book. I also used the lined paper inside the card. The 'Pretty Little Heart' paper is called just that!

I also used Baker's Twine, Gems, and a lovely shaped card blank from Crafty Emma's Store.

Hope you like? Sorry the photo's are a bit pants, but I had to use my daylight lamp. You can't beat natural daylight and a bit of sunshine can you?

I've had to move & pack some of my craft stuff away over Christmas and it was a nightmare making this card as I couldn't find anything lol!

I think a good old sort out and some reorganisation is needed.

As soon as I'm straight I will get back into the swing of things properly and catch up with your blogs, which I'm very sorry for neglecting just lately...hope you can forgive me.

A Very Happy New Year....

....to all my lovely followers. Hope you had fun bringing in the new year. We were celebrating at my Mum's. At around midnight I noticed a few spots on my 3yr old. Next morning he was covered, and it turns out he has Chickenpox!! Poor little man can't sleep for the pain and itching, hence I'm typing this up at almost 2 in the morning! I'm just glad my others already caught it a few years ago. Hope you had a better start to 2012?
