Fab 'n' Funky Challenge DT card...

Today I share with you, my first card as a Fab'n'Funky DT member! This weeks challenge is called 'Get In Shape'. We want to see something other than square or rectangle creations. This weeks sponsor is the very kind Elizabeth from Softpencil. Please see the Fab 'n' Funky challenge blog for full details and be sure to join in!

For my shaped card, I grabbed a square card blank (6x6 in size) and drew around a tin lid to create the curve, then cut.

I have used a really cute Softpencil image called Molly is giving you a flower. I have coloured her with Promarkers.

The cloud paper is Pink Petticoat, and the flowers are from Sarah's Cards. The little ticket sentiment was a fab freebie which you can find here.

I will put this card into the following;

my time to craft challenge 98 for 'angelic'

dare u 2 digi stamp for 'great outdoors'

Please join in the challenge, and show us your shaped cards.

Thanks for stopping by!

Papertake Weekly & DigiStamp Boutique GDT Card...

Hi all. I don't know about you but I have had some problems today with blogger. Comments vanishing for no reason. Been busy messing with my settings (which all seemed fine) so I am a bit late posting this card tonight.
It is my final GDT card for Papertake Weekly. This week is a sketch challenge.
I have used Surfin Lilly from DigiStamp Boutique, and coloured her with Promarkers. I have also added Stickles to the sand and sun. Papers are DCWV.

I am putting this into MY PARTNER IN CRAFTING CRIME challenge, who want to see summer creations,
and also DARE U 2 DIGI STAMP - 'great outdoors'
Thanks so much for stopping by...I will catch up with you all really soon!

More Lenny!..

Good evening! Just quickly wanted to share another Pink Gem Designs DT card with you. I used my Lenny stamp once again. I actually made it a few days ago along with the other one I already showed you. This time I used Promarkers to colour.

Papers are Pink Petticoat, and the Nestabilities are Lables 6.

If you haven't seen Janet's latest releases over at Pink Gem Designs, they are well worth a browse....some really cute stamps and embellishments too! There is a 10% discount off all the items inthe 'embellishments' category until the end of July too!

I'm going to have to keep it short...it's way past my bedtime!
But before I go I just wanted to remind you that 'A Gem Of A Challenge 5' will end on the 7th, so don't forget to upload your RIBBON & BUTTONS creations to the Pink Gem challenge blog soon!
Challenge 6 will launch on the 8th, and we are going to have sketches and optional extras from now on....so please join us then to see a fab sketch by DT Mandy.
There will still be the Top 5 choosen by us (the DT). The random winner will be choosen from all enteries with a Pink Gem Designs image...but as it is Mandy's Birthday soon, she is throwing in a few extra prizes herself. So there will also be 2 PGD stamps for her favourite entry with a PGD image and 2 PGD stamps for her favourite entery without a PGD image so it is worth everyone entering even if they don't use a PGD image! Please join us on the 8th to find out more!
Thanks for stopping by!

Tallulah & News...

Hi all! Hope your weekend is fab. Today's card is a sweet and simple design using the lovely Tallulah, who is included in the offer of the month over at the DigiStamp Boutique. I don't know how Sally-Ann dreams up all these new cute characters, she is very talented.

I have 'out of the boxed' the top of her head and cut her out using Nestabilities lables 2. I used Promarkers to colour her.
I mounted her onto some aqua card, and onto a kraft card base (A6 in size, folded at the top)

The little ribbon rosette is one I made from a length of ribbon. I simply did loose stitching up one side, pulled the ends of the thread to gather the ribbon, and added a brad.
The white scalloped border was cut with a sizzix sizzlits die.

Thanks so much for all the wonderful comments you leave for me. I am really grateful and am really sorry if I haven't paid you a visit yet this weekend.

Truth is I have been really busy.
I have been lucky enough embark upon a couple of new ventures this week. I can now reveal that I was successful, & Squiggle Stamps have asked me to join their DT! How fab is that?!
The girls over at Fab'n'Funky challenges have also asked me to join thier DT. So please forgive me if I haven't made it around to your blog yet this weekend, just wish there were more hours in the day!

Well, I'd better get on and start a card or two before bed! I need to do my Pink Gem DT card for the July challenge over at A Gem Of A Challenge. Please join us for that on the 8th. It will be a sketch challenge this time, and I will tell you more about that in a couple of days.
Don't worry if you haven't entered the June challenge yet. You still have a few more days so hop on over there!!
Good night, and thanks for stopping by!

Meet Lenny!...

Good evening all! I would like you to meet Lenny, one of the new polymer stamp releases over at Pink Gem Designs. He will be going on sale this evening, and you will find him, and the other new designs here.

He was fab to colour with my Copics. The large brush nib was ideal for the large areas within this stamp.

The papers are; We Are Memory Keepers
I also used;
Martha Stewart zig zag punch,
Craftwork cards cream scalloped card blank, card candy & sentiment.
The paper flowers were from my huge stash that I have tucked away upstairs. I can't resist buying more even though I have lots.
Hubby says our bedroom is beginning to resemble a cemetery lol!
I added dimension by creating some 'stilts' with lots of foam pads layered on top of each other and placing them under the centre of the image only.
It looks quite effective in the 'flesh' even if I do say so myself lol!
Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you are kind enough to leave. I hope to catch up on some commenting myself this weekend.
Bfn,
Jenny xx
