A Gem Of A Challenge 8...Janet's Sketch!....

Hi all! How fast did summer go?

My Children have gone back to school today. Even little man has gone to spend a day with Nan & Grandad so the house is very quiet...in fact silent! I hardly ever get the house to myself, so when I do, it's no TV, no radio, just blissful silence....heaven! Short lived though as I need to pick my eldest up from high school at ten past two...yes ten past two!! In my day we finished high school at about 4 o'clock.!

Enough waffle....today is the 8th and so a brand new challenge over at

which is being hosted by Janet this month and she has done this fantastic sketch below for you all with the optional extra of "LOTS OF SPARKLE"...

So for my DT card, I have used this lovely Pink Gem 'Chloe With Sledge' polymer stamp. If you hurry you can get 5% off polymer stamps over at Pink Gem Designs until Saturday!!

You can also get 10% off Promarkers...which I have used to colour my image.

The background of the image was created with Brilliance Inks using sponge daubers. Nice and sparkly but doesn't show up too well in the pic. I have also added lots of Stickles as my 'lots of sparkle' option.

Also from Pink Gem Designs, I have used Nestabilities Labels 10, (£1 off these at the moment!!) and Nested Poinsettias . When using the labels 10, I used the largest size, and the second largest size. But I wanted another in between size, so I drew around the second largest one, and cut it out to create the pink layer.

I also used;
8x8 card blank from CRAFTWORK CARDS....check out the posh new shape!!,
Card Candy...also from CWC,
Textured kraft card from PDA,
HOTP papers (had for YONKS!),
Gemstones cardstock,
McGill pine branch punch,
Marianne Design ponsettia dies (just for the stamen in the centre of the flowers),
Cuddly Buddly ticket sentiment download....printed onto textured kraft,
flat back pearls.

Well I think that's all...I hope you can join us this month at A Gem Of A Challenge!
Can I just thank those who entered last month using my sketch. It was great to see what you did with it, and well done to the winners!

Oh, before I go, I will enter this card into.....
I LOVE PROMARKERS.....transport challenge.
Charisma Cardz.....inspired by a song (Winter Wonderland)
Crafty Catz.....3,2,1 challenge (3 embellishments, 2 different papers and 1 image )
CRAFTY EMMA......floral frenzy

.
Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back tonight to tell you about the new challenge over at Fab'n'Funky.
