A Gem Of A Challenge 16 ~ My Sketch!...

Hello all!
Hope you've had a good week?...Sorry I've been a little quiet this week. It's been one of those weeks!
Sometimes I wish I could click my fingers, freeze time, and then put my family in a cupboard for a few hours/days/weeks(lol)!! whilst I caught up with everything, had a lovely long relaxing bath, made cards at leisure whilst watching something other than Sponge Bob Square Pants, made myself a tasty, healthy meal (rather that hastily shoving discarded fish fingers in my mouth whislt wiping beans from the floor/wall/ceiling!!)....you get the picture?..
I love 'em all dearly though and wouldn't be without them! x

So onto our brand new challenge over at 'A Gem Of A Challenge'.
I'm very excited, as this time it's my sketch to follow....

The others ladies have all done a wonderful job (please take a look).
I decided to use my 'Chloe In The Rain' stamp from Pink Gem Designs. I stamped her in Cocoa Memento ink onto smooth ivory card, and coloured her using my Copics.

Other Ingredients;

Go Kreate dies - flilly frames #5,
Martha Stewart deep edge garden gate punch,
Sizzix Sizzlits decorative strip (for the swirly leaves),
X cut leaf punch,
Craft Concepts 'in stitches' embossing folder,
Prima Madeline paper,
Prima butterfly,
Whimsy ticket sentiment stamp,
Paper flowers,
Buttons,
Flat backed pearls,
White gel pen.

Can't wait to see what you all make, and pick my top 3!

This card also fits our weekly challenge over at Fab'n'Funky, which is 'Spring into action'.
I haven't had time to join in with the rest of the DT this week, but please pop over there and have a look at what they've been up to.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a good weekend....
Jenny xx

Could you tell me what software you designed your sketch with? I've made one for a DT, but would love it to look all pretty like yours :o) Thanks for any help hun! Lisa x

I think we can all relate to the "family in a cupboard" sentiment, I know I can and as for your card, GORGEOUS. I love the colours and papers you have used and he image is fab. Have a great day. :-) xx

Lisa....just to let you know, I cannot take credit for the pretty finished sketch you see above. I got the lovely Janet (aka Pink Gem) to tart up my crude original for me (that i did on Paint). Not sure what software she used.
I'll pop across your blog later (just grabbing a quick 5 mins at the mo) but maybe you'll check back here and see this in the meantime xx
