CES Challenge ~ Monochromatic (My GDT Card)...

Hi all!
It's the beginning of the Easter hols here, and the Children have now broken up from school for 2 wks. So on the plus side I can burn the midnight oil, and craft until the early hours without having the school run to worry about in the morning. We can lounge around in our pj's all morning instead.

It's my second week as guest designer at CES Challenges.
The theme this time is MONOCHROMATIC.

My card is huge! I used a whopping 8x8 cream blank by Craftwork Cards.

The sweet digi image is a Sugar Nellie Adorable called 'Joy', available at Funky Kits. The only colour I added was with an ivory Promarker. I didn't think it needed anything else to fit the monochromatic theme.

The yummy paper is Craftwork Cards Allsorts.
Many Craftwork Cards products can be found at Crafty Emma's Store.

I used my 'Beaded Circle' Nesties from Pink Gem Designs (all Nesties on special at the mo!)
The adorable 'Birthday Wishes' Sentiment stamp is by Pink Gem Designs too.

The leafy punch is Leone 'em Evergreen.

I also added paper flowers, organza ribbon, a ribbon slider, gems and pearls.
Crafty Emma stocks many beautiful finish touches, such as the ribbon slider I've used.

Oh, and I should add, the beautiful butterfly die is by Marianne Designs, but it's a blinkin' pain in the *** to cut in my Wizard!!

I will also enter this into LEXI'S CREATIONS - MONOCHROMATIC

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I'm off to my Sister's hen night later, but will catch up with you all over the next few days.

Paper flowers,

I have some news to share. I am thrilled to have been invited to join Crafty Emma and her team at CES challenges, as guest designer for this month. Thanks for asking me ladies!

The theme is 'Children', and so this is what I came up with.....

I used 'Verity' from the 'Adorables' range by Sugar Nellie, available as a digi download at Funky Kits.

I coloured with Copics and used a white gel pen to add detail.

Other items used;

Prima papers, bakers twine, charm, flowers, pearls - all available at Crafty Emma's Store

Nesties, currently on special offer at Pink Gem Designs

Gorgeous sentiment available HERE at Pink Gem Designs,

Vintage seam binding from The Ribbon Girl,

Leone Em evergreen punch,

Raffia lace.

I followed the fab sketch over at THE SUGARBOWL, with the option of 'pink', so will enter it into the challenge.

Other challenges I am entering;

Wags'n'Whiskars - ribbons & pearls
